MecoConcept has created an hydraulic press that has the ability to create “LEGO”-like bricks made of mud and a mixture of hydraulic binder materials. In less than 30 seconds, the hydraulic press produces a brick that looks similar to that of LEGO. It is however possible to construct load-bearing walls with these blocks! With this ability, devastated areas can now have the materials to use in rebuilding their houses or you can build your own eco-home made from local resources like mud, dirt.

Mud houses are one of the most natural habitats we have ever had. They have their own special beauty to them. So, this machine here definitely targets the eco-conscious. The green credentials do not end here. This cool machine is powered by solar energy. Similar to Lego Blocks in design, these mud bricks can be built in no time. Besides, they also insulate exceptionally well. To give it little strength so that it doesn’t gets washed away in the rain, MecoConcept have added cement in small quantity.

This eco-friendly gadget has been designed specially to help in making temporary homes in disaster-stricken areas quickly. This machine will quickly help in building small, safe shelters for the until their house can be fixed or they can move into another house.
