Sustainability Aspects: Disposable tableware should be designed compostable and biodegradable so you can dispose them with the food rest in the composting bin.

Not the fan from disposable anything but … Wasara elevates disposable tableware to a new level. the earth-conscious product is made from paper of tree-free renewable materials: bamboo, reed pulp and sugar cane fiber (Bagasse a by-product from sugar production) and is fully biodegradable and compostable. The sturdy and simple designs fit comfortably into one’s hand. And so beautiful. Mind the poetics from their website;

“Underlying the concept of WASARA is the legacy of the Japanese aesthetic and value sense. Japan has a tradition of good manufacturing backed by excellent skills and techniques, one of the most refined food cultures in the world, and a spirit of hospitality and courtesy.”
