Sustainability Aspects: Photovoltaic streetlamp functioning of the grid

Sky

Sky is an alternative energy streetlamp employing photovoltaic cells. The lamp is designed for external use. The cells are located in the upper part, the roof, of the lamp, the area most exposed to the sun light. The series exist of three lamps, one wall lamp and two different sizes grounded ones. They are available with LED’s and rechargable batteries so they can be used of the grid in gardens or parks.

The material choice is thought well through for recycling; aluminum for structural parts and Polycarbonate for the luminaire. But who want to get rid of it?
