Based on Apple's data from http://images.apple.com/environment/reports/docs/11inch_MacBookAir_Product_Environmental_Report.pdf. They don't say anything about the lifetime but I assumed 5 years (3 years own use and 2 years second hand). 4 hours working, 4 hours stand-by screen off, 8 hours sleep, 8 hours off per day.
